I was reading InStyle Magazine's top 20 red carpet dresses of 2008 (so far) and I have selected my favorite out of the group, as well as my least favorites. To see the full list go to http://www.instyle.com/. I really love this dress by Zac Posen worn by Rihanna. The dress shape is gorgeous and I love the color of it as well. I could see myself wearing something like this but Rihanna probably wears it much better. Rihanna always has fabulous style.
Other dresses I really like include Penelope Cruz in Chanel Haute Couture, Anne Hathaway in Atelier Versace, Keri Russell in Nina Ricci, Cameron Diaz in Dior, Marion Cotillard in Gaultier Paris, Natalie Portman in Christian Lacroix Haute Couture and Kate Hudson in Balmain.
Though InStyle called these the best red carpet dresses of 2008, there were a few that I disagree on. Fergie in a Calvin Klein Collection dress, which was beautiful but I thought she didn't fit into it very well. Linda Evangelista in Lanvin, I just don't like the shape of this dress period, same goes for Lucy Lui in Giambattista Valli. Tilda Swinton just looks awkward in the dress by Lanvin.
