Sorry Jibber Jabber fans

Hey everyone. I must admit it has been over a week since I last wrote on here and I wasn't on vacation again. I regret to inform you that this blog will have no new entries until further notice. I am spending some time working on writing a novel and it is difficult enough to find the time for that, let alone to also write on here. I am not shutting down the site, but I will not be posting anything new until I announce that I have returned.

American Idol top 36 announced; Joanna Pacitti disqualified

Last night's American Idol had the judges choosing the top 36 contestants to vie for America's vote. After last night's airing however, one of the chosen would be disqualified and a close call would get her second chance.

Joanna Pacitti, (pictured), made it through to the top 36 on last night's show, but shortly thereafter was disqualified. The true reason to her disqualification has not yet been announced but according to the official Idol statement she has been determined to be ineligible for the competition.

I have been kind of down on Pacitti since the beginning due to the fact that she has already been a recording artist under Geffen/A&M which released her debut album This Crazy Life, in 2006. Also, Pacitti's music has appeared on several soundtracks including Legally Blonde, First Daughter and Bratz. In my opinion, Pacitti already had her chance and obviously blew it. But who knows, maybe there are some circumstances that we don't yet know about.

Even though I didn't think she should have the chance to contend for American Idol, I still can't help but feel bad for this girl who is obviously really down on her luck.

Replacing Pacitti is Felicia Barton who didn't quite make the cut until Pacitti was disqualified. Hope her second chance pays off for her.

Now let's weigh in on who I think is American Idol worthy and who I think should be on American Idiot instead.

Who I am liking this year (In no particular order): Danny Gokey, Kendall Beard, Adam Lambert, Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai, Kristen McNamara, Ann Marie Boskovich, Alexis Grace, Nathaniel Marshall and Ju'Not Joyner.

Who I think shouldn't have made the top 36: Nick Mitchell/Norman Gentle and Tatiana Del Toro. Del Toro is the most annoying person in the world and I would never in a million years buy anything with her name on it. I absolutely cannot stand this girl. Nick/Norman on the other hand, I enjoy his tactics but I just don't think he should be on American Idol. I don't think he has star quality in the way that an American Idol is supposed to. However, I think that Nick/Norman has a big heart and he should be given his own singing comedy tour.

Who I think may take home the title: Well, it is obviously way to early to determine who is going to actually win, but my early favorite is Danny Gokey. I think that Gokey is exactly what America needs right now. He is handsome, he has the tragic story for the sympathy vote and the boy can sing. I actually cried last night as I watched his friend Jamar get eliminated from the competition.

Good luck to all of the Idol contestants... except Tatiana.

Loving American Idol Season 8

I must admit that I haven't watched much American Idol in the past. I know what you are thinking, Holly, not watching American Idol when she's such a big fan of reality shows? It's strange I assure you.

My reasoning for not watching it in the past is I would keep missing the show. Now that I have a DVR that automatically records all of my favorite shows, it's no longer an issue.

Now I have been watching season 8 since it began and I am really digging the show.

I was a little disappointed at some of the people that were cut from last night's show. The whole group night concept got a few people their ticket home a little sooner than was necessary.

The infamous Bikini Girl (Katrina Darrell) should have stayed longer, but because she was a whiny brat and didn't want to cooperate with her team, she got sent home. She also helped sabotage another favorite of mine, Rose Flack. I thought she was one cool chick. She did need to work on her vocals some though, but I think if she was given the opportunity she would have worked hard until the end.

Another one that left too soon was David Osmond. I thought he was fantastic and after seeing him perform the first time I really thought he would make the top five. He had the look and the voice. I guess I was wrong!

I look forward to watching the show progress and voting to help choose the next American Idol!

What'd I miss?

Hey I'm back from my trip and ready to start blogging again! Okay, I must admit I am a bit exhausted and the daunting task of looking back at things I've missed and blogging them is just not on my to do list. Whatever happened while I was away will go unwritten on my page. But I am ready and willing to get back to work on today's headlines.

One thing I must mention that happened in recent days past is the fact that E! announced that Girls Next Door Kendra Wilkinson is getting her own spin off. I have to admit I am intrigued to see where the spunky playboy bunny will go next. Kendra was always my favorite on the show because she is fun to watch.

I apologize to those who regularly check my blog. I have been uber busy getting ready to go on a trip. I have also been working long hours besides. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read this blog and I am truly sorry if you have been waiting for me!

Paris Hilton's BFF Part Deux!

Okay, so I just heard a couple days ago that they have begun casting for Paris Hilton's My New BFF part deux and I am totally psyched.

I absolutely love Paris and she has been one of my role models. I know that she has made a lot of mistakes in her past, but who the hell hasn't? People are allowed to live and learn aren't they? Paris has uncanny charisma and personality, plus she's a total sweetheart and shares my love of animals.

If any of you have been reading this for a long time or have looked back at past posts you should then know that I did try out for the show's first season. I did receive a call back from Doron Ofir Casting, the company finding the show's contestants, but didn't make it to the show.

You can bet your bottom dollar that I'm trying out again. I hope you all get to see me on tv!

I would just like to take this time to declare that there has not been a whole lot of blog-worthy celebrity news out there lately. I have also been quite busy. I appologize for those who read my blog frequently.

Crazy people are surrounded by crazy situations

I happen to find rapper Kanye West to be an extremely talented individual. However, I also think he is a little bit off his rocker (I will give him some slack since he did lose his mother not that long ago to an unnecessary tragedy).

Well, I happen to think that crazy people seem to get some crazy attention. Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton... need I say more? (I love these girls though, don't get me wrong, they just get a lot of bad press because they are a bit on the wild side!)

Recent reports claim that West would be willing to do porn, even bisexual porn with a man or two women. The reports are apparently not true, thank God, but I have to share with you his weird responses to the reports on his blog. These are quotes:

"Yoooo why won't you let me be great!!!" writes West.

"I had the two greatest days of my life and when I get back...I read some s--t claiming I said I'm down to do porn and some bisexual porn!!!!!

Why would anyone do this?

I can't believe that reports are coming out now that apparently one of the paramedics in charge of John Travolta's son Jett took a cellphone picture of Jett as he was dying in the ambulance. There is also a politician that may be involved. The men are threatening to sell the photo to the highest bidder if Travolta doesn't pay them a million dollar ransom.

How awful for the Travolta family. First they have to deal with the sudden death of their son, then the media wouldn't stop talking about it for day after day after day, continually reminding them of the terrible incident, but now this.

Have a heart people. Life isn't all about money!

OMG I hope this is some kind of joke!

Awhile back, actor Joaquin Phoenix (who did a phenomenal job playing musician Johnny Cash in Walk the Line) announced he was quitting acting to pursue a career in music. Who would have thought that Phoenix was looking to rap!

Let's hope that Joaquin is not on some type of drugs. Remember his brother River died of a drug overdose.

Joaquin, please tell all of us that this is just some stupid bet you made with a friend or something. Put our minds at ease and go back to doing what you do best .. acting! I never want to hear another rap from you in my life and I love rap music!

I guess the saying really is true. Don't quit your day job!!

Shame on you Kendra!

Kendra Wilkinson of The Girls Next Door recently dished a lot of dirt to Us Weekly. Now she is apologizing for her big mouth.

Wilkinson was recently dating Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner. She will soon be walking down the aisle with Philadelphia Eagle Hank Baskett.

She apparently says in the interview with Us that she was sneaking sex on the side, while date Hefner. (I haven't read it yet but I will definitely go pick up a copy!)

"I'm more upset at myself with what I said," Kendra told E! News. "I'm really bad at interviews, and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm...I'm a goofball. Mostly, I'm very sorry to have hurt Hef...Playboy made me who I am, and Hef has done more for me than anyone else. In my heart, I will always love Hef and Playboy."

Wilkinson even stopped by the Playboy Mansion to apologize to Hugh Hefner. "Hef was hurt, but he understands," she said. "He knows me and knows what came out of the article was not me at all."

Sometimes, the truth should not be told. Kendra, watch your tongue next time.

There's always more than meets the eye

And no, I am not talking about Transformers. I am talking about The Girls Next Door.

One of the girls, Bridget Marquardt, recently said that the girls didn't always get along. "We got along relatively well for three girls living in the same house and shooting a TV show together and doing everything together," she told reporters at The Travel Channel's Television Critics Association event.

"But there was always moments where [it was], 'Oh, Kendra is late again.' You know, rolling the eyes, the irritation," she said. "There was definitely some of that."

Marquardt has an upcoming television show of her own on the Travel Channel, which she thinks will be better for her than The Girls Next Door, stating, "I was very happy with The Girls Next Door and my life there, but this is propelling me on my own and is what I went to school for and what I love. I've kind of got the best of both worlds now."

I guess there will be a Gossip Girl spinoff ...

Who would have thought? Oh wait, all of us did! Gossip Girl producers were quick to shut down rumors of a spinoff just to tell us a little while later that there is one ... imagine that!

Well, I don't know if I am as excited about the spinoff as I am the actual show, but I'm willing to try anything once.

The new storyline will focus on Lily van der Woodsen, Serena's mom, when she was a teenager back in the 80s. Lily will be played by Kelly Rutherford, who plays the character in the current show.

The spinoff will be produced as a backdoor pilot and air May 11 as an episode of Gossip Girl, according to Usmagazine.com.

Is another super star turning bisexual?

Okay, am I the only one that happened to notice that Drew Barrymore and Grey Gardens costar Jessica Lange were a little bit too close at the Golden Globe Awards? The two were inseparable, holding hands the entire time and when they were on stage, they seemed to have a moment. You could almost see little hearts coming out of their eyes.

Maybe they are not having a lesbian affair, but they are obviously very close friends! Either way, Barrymore looked phenomenal!

If they are the latest hookup, then I wish them the very best.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I had the privilege to go see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night. It was an absolute delight. Acting portrayed by Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, as well as numerous others, was superb. The storyline kept me engaged and I loved watching the story unfold. Benjamin Button is the new Forrest Gump. Epic storytelling at its finest.

You must go see this one!

Is Nicole Richie going to be on Gossip Girl? Nope!

The New York Daily News reported that Nicole Richie loves Gossip Girl and wanted a role on the show. Richie's reps say it's "not true." Richie is too busy working on her jewelry line, House of Harlow.

Too bad it's not true. I would love to see Richie play a role on one of my favorite shows. Maybe in the future?

How bold of you

Brat Pitt has either lost his mind or is the most modest celebrity in Hollywood. In February's W magazine, Pitt allows some close up photos of his face to remain untouched, showing his true 45-year-old face.

I think the photo shoot is awesome. Big props to Pitt for not caring what the world thinks. Besides he still looks hot, just a little wiser and more distinguished.

He also tries to clear up some bad press stating that he and ex Jennifer Aniston still speak and said that what happened between him and Angelina Jolie was no "dastardly affair."

Ikki twins narrow it down to the final four

The Ikki twins, Rikki and Vikki, are trying to find their true someone on A Double Shot at Love. Well, they are getting closer, as they have reduced the cast down to four. The ladies will meet with the final fours' families in their hometowns to get a glimpse of their life.

Well, in the latest episode, the Ikkis finally found out about Josh and Rosemary, who had "hooked up" the very first night in the house. Josh lied his ass off to the girls and then told Rosemary he really wanted her! What a mess. The Ikkis were not thrilled and they slammed the door in his face.

Through some strange turn of events, the girls decided to keep Rosemary but sent home the lovely Xoe. What happened was is Rikki had a connection with Rosemary, just like she did Nick, and begged her sister (and fought with her) to keep her on the show. Nick should have been eliminated long before he was and Rosemary definitely shouldn't have stayed this time. Seems to me like Rikki doesn't care if her sister finds love or not, she just wants to make sure she finds hers...but she's looking at the wrong people.

I personally don't think any of the ones on this show, especially with how fast they seem to be getting eliminated, are going to be right for these girls. I wish them the best of luck anyways.

Hot messes on a bus!

If you haven't figured it out yet, I love reality television. I'm not sure why, I guess its just fun to what other people are really like. I am a writer and I see into people's true characters. One that I have been watching since season one is Rock of Love. I am not even that big of a fan of Bret Michaels or Poison but I knew there would be some interesting girls to watch.

Well the latest edition of Michaels attempt to find love has a bunch of hot messes joining him on a rock tour across America. Here's what I think of some of the ladies:

I have to alert the crazy patrol for Constandina, Nikki, Gia and Brittaney. I have nothing against being spiritual as Constandina is, but she just seems out of this world in a creepy way. Nikki was disgusting. She looked like a nasty cross between Angelique and Daisy from season two. I was glad to see her go right away. Gia was horribly slutty. She was making out with girls, which I have no problem with except she's on a show to find love with Michaels. She also served a shot out of her vajayjay, which is just plain unsanitary. Brittaney is an ex porn star, which you should never judge someone by their past. I don't have a problem with the porn thing, what I do have a problem with is her crazy neediness. She practically asked Bret to marry her the first day. Crazy, crazy, crazy!!

Who I like on the show so far: Brittanya, Beverly, Kelsey, Melissa and Natasha.

Hef has three ladies...again!

Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner is again dating three beautiful blondes. He recently split with girlfriends Kendra Wilkinson (who is getting married to Philadelphia Eagle wide receiver Hank Baskett), Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison (who is dating illusionist Criss Angel).

Very soon after his split with the ladies of The Girls Next Door, Hef moved onto 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon. Now apparently there's a third girl in the mix, 22-year-old Crystal Harris from San Diego.

There may even be more ladies to come for Hefner. Harris stated in an E! Online message board that, "There are a couple that we have interest in ... As for now, it is just us three."

GG is back!

I am so ecstatic that Gossip Girl is back with new episodes. The show that never disappoints was as good as ever on Monday. (Warning, spoilers!) Dan and Serena got back together and Chuck may have figured out that Blair really does want whats best for him. Jenny found out she is best just being herself and Rufus and Lily went off to find their child that was given up for adoption many years ago.

Juicy, juicy drama. Love it!

Brandi M. is lookin good!

After watching the Rock of Love Charm School Reunion, I am convinced of two things 1. Megan is a stupid skankbag slut and 2. Brandi M. was definitely the right choice to be the only graduate of Charm School.

I love Brandi's new look. She looks classy, sophisticated and normal! Definitely loving her new attitude on life. Also big props to Destiney who has started her own clothing line!

Megan was not only wasted on the show, she was dressed in a bikini and high heels, about as slutty as it comes. Oh and did I forget that she insulted the incredible Sharon Osbourne? Well, Sharon wouldn't stand for that now would she? Of course not, she dumped her drink on that dirty whore. Megan was yanked off the stage by a bunch of bouncers ... peace bitch!

Brawlin' lesbians

A report in the New York Post's Page Six column claims that Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson rang in the new year with a fist fight instead of a kiss. Apparently the fight began while partying at Set in Miami and then continued at Mansion where the couple took their argument out into the alleyway where it was reportedly witnessed by a bum eating a sandwich. The bum explained that Lohan had shouted at Ronson "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"

Well, it didn't end there. The couple headed back to their hotel room and started brawling. Sources report that they heard crashing and screaming coming from the room and then the fight made its way into the hallway where fists were flying.

According to Page Six, at one point, Lohan dropped to her knees and cried, "Why are you doing this to me?" Ronson replied, "I don't know you."

Later the dueling couple boarded a plane back to L.A. together but Lohan looked like such a mess that the stewardess asked if she would like to disembark but Lohan declined.

My condelences to John Travolta and his family

John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett died of seizure, apparently hitting his head on the bathtub. Reports in the past have suggested that Jett has autism, a report that Travolta has denied saying that Jett instead has Kawasaki Syndrome, which can lead to heart disease.

My sympathies to the family and God bless them during this difficult time.

GG actress following after her character

Kelly Rutherford, who plays Lily van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, recently announced that she was pregnant with her second child. Even more recently, reports from TMZ.com say she's filed for divorce claiming irreconcilable differences.

Rutherford is about three months along with her latest child with soon to be ex-husband Daniel Giersch. She has been with Giersch for two years. Also two years ago, they welcomed their first son, Hermes Gustaf Daniel Giersch.

Rutherford's character in GG, Lily, is notorious for getting married and divorced several times. Well this is Rutherford's second husband and the first one, Carlos Tarajano, she split with after only five months of wedded bliss.

These haters are dissing a magazine that they are obviously reading or they wouldn't be commenting there. Also, I'm sick of everyone saying they hate Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. I think they are an awesome couple and they are getting filthy stinking rich doing pretty much nothing. That speaks volumes in my mind. These two are marketing gurus and I see nothing wrong with earning yourself some cash, even if you are selling out. All that Speidi are doing is hanging on to a little gift that was given to them from MTV, it's called fame!
